Hello and Welcome to Sol Wellness and Psychiatry

My name is Tulsie Patel and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist

I graduated Cum Laude from Drexel University and attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) and was elected to serve as Chief Resident during my final year of training. After graduation, I joined a clinic near Los Angeles before returning home to South Florida. I have experience in pharmacotherapy/medication management, individual and group therapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS.)

I am dedicated to constantly learning and have previously published numerous articles and book chapters on various topics in the fields of psychiatry, dermatology, and psychodermatology.

I am very passionate about education and medical journalism. During my residency training, I worked at ABC News in New York City as a member of their medical unit. I provided consultation on medical stories for programs including Good Morning America and World News with David Muir. I also published a number of articles on the websites for ABC News and Good Morning America. I also have experience presenting as an on-air expert for ABC News and mental health podcasts.

All of my past experiences have led me to create Sol Wellness and Psychiatry. I am excited to develop a clinic that focuses on providing personalized, patient-centered, and continuously evolving treatment.
